The Romance Package is relaxed, romantic and still full of unforgettable experiences. Stay in Ubud’s jungle, on the lively tropical paradise island of Gili Trawangan, and on the ocean cliffs in Uluwatu. There is plenty of romance in this package, with a couple massage, a private candle-light dinner and sunset flower bath, a couple massage and wine tasting (optional). Experience the culture and nature of Bali, as well as the underwater world of the Gilis, through multiple activities.

    • Your friendly Balinese driver will welcome you at the airport with a welcome package to celebrate the start of your honeymoon.
    • It takes about 1.5 hours to get to your Ubud hotel, where you’ll enjoy welcome drinks before heading to your Superior Agung Room with private balcony.
    • Depending on the time of your arrival, you may want to rest or explore the area. The Tjampuhan Spa Hotel is very centrally located in walking distance of all the bars and restaurants (we provide a booklet with suggestions), but your hotel also features a restaurant.
    • Your stay also includes a Spa Sauna visit which you can use on a day of choice, and the spa is beautifully located in a cave overlooking the river!

  • Day 2
    • Let’s take it easy on your first day. You might be jetlagged or getting used to your timezone. If you do like to explore, you could visit the Sauna Spa that is included in your stay, or walk the Campuhan Ridge for sunset, a 1-hour walk that starts right next to the hotel (see your booklet for details). Ubud town is in walking distance too, with many great restaurants and bars.
    • In the evening, we have planned a romantic candle-light dinner for you at a beautiful private spot in the hotel, included in your package!

  • Day 3
    • In the morning, you can choose your favorite activity to explore the surroundings of Ubud: either rafting on the Sayan jungle river, adventurous off-road ATV riding through the Bali countryside or an authentic Balinese cooking class.
    • A simple buffet lunch is included with your rafting or ATV activity, but if you choose the cooking class you’ll have a chance to enjoy your own Balinese food!
    • After your adventure, you may want to unwind a little. We have the perfect solution: you can enjoy a 60-minute Balinese couple massage at the Tjampuhan Spa. Afterwards, you can enjoy the sauna and steam rooms as well as cold and warm baths. In the evening, why not explore Ubud for dinner, drinks or boutique shopping. The lively town is in walking distance of the hotel, and can find our favorite restaurant suggestions in the booklet you’ll receive!

    • Today is all about discovering Bali’s Hindu culture and Ubud’s beautiful nature and rice terraces. Still, it is a pretty relaxed day, you will be picked up around 10AM and get back to your hotel well in advance for dinner.
    • Highlights include the UNESCO-heritage Tegellalang Rice Terraces, taking romantic pictures at a spectacular Swing and a visit to the ancient Tirta Empul temple, where you may choose to undergo a refreshing Melukat water cleansing ceremony.
    • A local Balinese lunch at a beautiful spot is included your trip today.
    • You will be dropped back in your hotel well before dinner time.

  • Day 5
    • You’ll be picked up after breakfast to head to Padang Bai port. We have booked tickets with the most reliable ferry operator to take you to Gili Trawangan (“Gili T”), part of the Gili Islands, with a large fastboat.
    • You will arrive at Gili Trawangan island after a 2-hour ferry ride in the afternoon. The small island does not allow motorized traffic, the only way to get around is by foot, bycycle or horsecart. Fortunately your stay includes bicycles, so you’ll easily be able to explore all beaches and areas of the island.
    • Gili T features a lively main street with restaurants, shops and bars, but your hotel is on the calmer side of the island on a perfect spot to watch the sunset (it even has its own simple beach club!).
    • Into nightlife? Gili Trawangan has parties going on every night. While your hotel is a bit away from the action, it is easy to head to town for drinks!

  • Day 6
    • In the morning, discover the underwater world of the Gili Islands on a private 4-hour snorkeling boat trip. We suggest leaving early (7:30AM) to beat the crowds, but a more relaxed 9AM departure time is possible too.
    • Your boat trip uses a simple boat with glass bottom, and will will stop at many spots, and you’ll be able to snorkel with large turtles and along beautiful coral reefs.
    • In the afternoon we have secured day beds for you at La Cala Beachclub, where you will have 1 million Indonesian Rupia (around US$ 70) free to spend on food and drinks included.

  • Day 7
    • After breakfast, you’ll head back to Bali by ferry, where your private driver will pick you up again.
    • On your way back you have two options: choose between a sunset dinner with grilled fish and seafood on Jimbaran Beach, or a tour to the Sababay winery followed by a tasting session (4 glasses of wine with a light set menu).
    • After you finished your dinner experience, your driver will take you to check-in at your hotel on the cliffs near Uluwatu.

  • Day 8
    • Yesterday was very active, so today is a romantic day. We’ll give you some time to relax and enjoy your new hotel in the morning. The hotel has a pool area with spectacular cliff views overlooking the ocean as well as a small private beach that can be reached by stairs (worth checking out!).
    • In the afternoon, you will enjoy a romantic couple massage at Senses Spa, followed by a romantic flower bath in a private pool, while you can watch the sun set into the Indian Ocean.
    • You won’t have to leave the resort at all today, as there is a restaurant with Asian and Western dishes on-site too (not included). If desired, we can arrange transport to Uluwatu town too (not included).

  • Day 9
    • You can choose an activity in the morning: either a private beginner surf lesson, or a visit to 121-meter tall Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue towering over South Bali, with tickets to the top of the statue included (amazing views!).
    • You’ll have a few more hours to enjoy the facilities in your hotel before your driver will pick you up around 3PM for your final sunset in Uluwatu.
    • Your driver will take you to Uluwatu Temple on the cliffs. This is where you will witness a spectacular traditional Balinese Kecak Fire Dance Performance while the sun sets in the distance. Watch out for the monkeys roaming around the Temple Complex!
    • Afterwards, the driver can either drop you at the hotel or in Uluwatu town for more varied restaurant options and nightlife (in that case its best to get a separate taxi back to your hotel).

  • Day 10
    • Unfortunately no honeymoon can last forever… Based on the departure time of your flight, your driver will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off at the airport. We suggest leaving 3.5 hours before international flights, as traffic can sometimes be bad. You’ll probably arrive too early but we rather not have you miss your flight!
    • If you want, the driver can make a stop at a massive souvenir shop along the way to the airport, where you can find much better valued memories and gifts than at the airport itself. In that case, we suggest leaving the hotel 4 hours before your flight.
    • Let us know if your flight departs late in the evening, we can help arranging a visit to a beach club for your last day (not included in the package).

The Tjampuhan Spa Hotel is highly rated.

When you walk into the Tjampuhan Spa Hotel you immediately feel the history. The locally owned hotel is built with typical Balinese architecture. It has been the home of famous artists, as indicated by the names of the rooms. It has a spectacular view overlooking the Tjampuhan River Valley, but is still very close to town - it only takes a 10 minute walk or short taxi ride to get to downtown Ubud. We like to visit the spa at the Tjampuhan hotel, as it has sauna and steam rooms as well as warm and cold baths, all situated in a beautifully decorated cave overlooking the jungle valley.

Let us know if you are interested in upgrading to the larger Deluxe Raja Room.

Do note: this hotel is located on a ridge, with lots of stairs to climb (no elevator). It is not very suitable for those with difficulties walking. Get in touch with us if you feel this could be an issue.

PinkCoco Gili Air is highly rated.

PinkCoco is highly rated and highly pink. We believe its a great place to stay on the Gili Trawangan, as it is located a bit away from the action on the calmer west side of the island - but with the lively bars and restaurants of Gili T still in walking distance. It has its own beach club that gets popular during sunset and features a large pool. Your Cocoon room features its own balcony. Let us know if you are interested in upgrading to a Grande Room or the Casanostra Suite.

La Joya Biu Biu is highly rated.

La Joya Biu Biu is a cliffside resort facing the Indian Ocean, strategically located in South Bali between Jimbaran and Uluwatu. The hotel is mostly visited by couples, due to its romantic views, the Senses massage spa down the cliffs and pool area facing the sunset.

You’ll stay in a rustic Bali-style private wooden cabin. The cabins are spacious (at least 32m2) and feature a queen bed. A welcome drink and A-la-carte breakfast is included.
